The president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer of a corporation (other than a family farm corporation) may make a rejection of workers’ compensation or employers’ liability coverage (rejection of coverage).
The law allows up to four corporate officers of a given corporation to make a rejection of workers’ compensation or employers’ liability coverage under Iowa Code chapters 85, 85A, and 85B by knowingly and voluntarily rejecting workers’ compensation coverage.
The president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer of a corporation (other than a family farm corporation) may terminate a rejection of coverage after filing it with the Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC).
