Video Requirements for CourtCall

Overview

Under Iowa Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) rules, hearings may be by Internet-based video.

DWC has contracted with CourtCall to provide Internet-based video service for agency hearings.

Video Requirements

CourtCall is a browser-based service. The equipment requirements are:

1. A laptop or desktop computer with the following:
   • Internet connection (preferably hard-wired)
   • Adobe Flash Player installed on the browser
     • Note:  If you are using Google Chrome as your browser, add a Flash Player Exception for:
       • https://video/courtcall.com
       • https://p2p.courtcall.com
       • https://app.courtcall.com
   • Webcam
2. A phone because audio is always connected separately and will not come through the computer.
